Caro Fentiman is a writer based in Northumberland. Her words are inspired by her local landscape, the wide empty beaches and the Cheviot Hills. She writes honestly about what it means to be a woman, a mother and a carer and about the value in taking the road less travelled. She has written extensively on alternative education for journals such as Learning Through Living, on topical issues for Voice of the North and on visual arts events for Corridor 8. Her forthcoming memoir, The Nature of Change, is about solitude and facing the fear. It is both an exploration of the narratives that have shaped women's adventures through the ages, and a story of renewal.
